The Nigerian Military School (NMS) Zaria has graduated over one hundred boys at its 60th Passing Out Parade in Kaduna State Saturday 4 August 2018.
The event which took place at the RSM Zakari Yamusa Kumasi Parade Ground had in attendance the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai, represented by the Commandant, Depot Nigerian Army, Maj Gen Victor Okudili-Ezugwu, the executive Governor of Niger State, Alh Abubakar Sani Bello (who is also an Ex-Boy), representatives of the Governor of Nasarawa, Zamfara and Kaduna States.
Other dignitaries include some top Army officers including the former Nigerian Army Spokesman Brig Gen SK Usman, whose son was among the boys passing out.
The Chief of Army Lt Gen TY Buratai in his address assured the boys that their welfare is well guaranteed as they pursue their military career. He therefore charged them to be well behaved and maintain the excellence the Nigerian Army stands for.
There were colourful displays and parade as guests graciously applauded the young Soldiers for their performance.
The event also included the commissioning of the newly renovated administrative office complex in the School.
